Jamrock Marble Volcanic Park
Co-op members can also use Jamrock's adjoining 50 acres for walking, hiking biking and camping in its secure natural marble hills.
Jamrock Marble's farm is based on a volcanic ejecta that was formed millions of years ago by a volcanic eruption.
The heat from the ancient dormant volcanic explosion produced Jamrock's natural marble lime volcanic ejecta.
The ejecta is surrounded by one of the world's purest marble deposits that has as much as 99.51% calcium carbonate.
Proof of Jamrock's volcanic ejecta roots is based on it's geological and chemical make up.
The hills of Jamrock contains extensive reserves of recrystallized limestone which is better known as marble.
Part of Jamrock's marble limestone deposit has more than 98.5% calcium oxide or natural lime.
Natural or native lime is a rare mineral as Wikipedia notes:
"The name lime (native lime) refers to a very rare mineral of the CaO composition."
According to the experts rare natural lime or calcium oxide, CaO, is found in limestone deposits that were altered by a volcanic ejecta as noted by Wikipedia.
